9/25/2023 0 Comments Mp3tag how to remove album art![]() Maybe it wasn’t what haverchuck had in mind, but as I said, when you ask a question, or help with a problem on a public forum, you are likely to get many different suggestions some of which you will agree with, some you won’t. GB was honestly offering a suggestion for help. That is the attitude I suggested wasn’t necessary or needed adjustment. Haverchuck - If this wasn’t your meaning or intention please accept my apology but if my interpretation of your words and/or meaning was in-accurate, maybe you’d like to re-phrase it so peolpe don’t get the wrong idea? This is MY thread!”Īt least that’s the way I see it. But one shouldn’t so pubically discard what he doesn’t want to hear, and basically say, “I don’t like your idea. The way I read it, the ‘tone’ projected was, “If you don’t/can’t understand that I want to solve this, and not merely ‘avoid’ it, please keep your irrelevant suggestions to yourself and ignore this thread.” As if to say, if you’re not going to help, stay the Hell out! Of course, it shouldn’t bother us that’s what we’re here for isn’t it? That comment was disrespectful and un-appreciative for a reply that wasn’t what he wanted to hear. How often do we suggest Formatting players, and how many times is that what people want to do? Its rare. So lets not jump on people who offer solutions not to our liking. Not the one the OP is looking for obviously but it was an option to just let it go. I’m not sure … now i can scan my library for them and remove the tags I had a few gig worth of mp3’s i had scaned with Tag-runner, it grabbed the artwork and i think it embedded them, or… maybe it was itunes. I tryed it on one of my files and saved 90k… i was also able to save the artwork under by selecting the file, going to properties, tag id, viewing the art, and then right clicking on the image. I’m happy to know it works, and reclaims the space. I think I may have said that from another artical on the subject but not one from this site. for some reason i thought it would delete the cover art tab but not reclaim the space. Thanks for pointing out mp3tag will delete the cover art. It shouldn’t bother anyone hes trying to find a solution. LOL, actually i think what he said was fine. Therefore, I go with folder.jpg exclusively now because I prefer MSC too. ![]() I think I’ve read somewhere that this is because Fuze is not handling embedded art correctly, and MTP does some extra work behind the scene. On the other hand, they showed up during both playback and browsing if the files were transfered via MTP. If my memory serves me right, I was able to see the embedded cover arts during playback but not during browsing when the files were transfered via MSC. I use MSC exclusively and embedded cover art will show during playback. ![]() Why does embedded cover art display OK if the MP3 was copied via MTP mode, but not if the MP3 was copied via MSC mode? ![]() jpg files to see if that mattered (it didn’t). I prefer MSC mode, but it seems impossible to get the Sansa Fuze to display embedded cover art. If I put a folder.jpg file in the folder with the MP3 file, then that folder.jpg is displayed OK during browsing or playing.Ī friend of mine has a Fuze and if they copy an MP3 with embedded cover art using MTP mode, then that cover art *IS* displayed when browsing or playing the MP3. If I have an MP3 file with embedded cover art (used Mp3tag to embed) and copy it over to the Sansa Fuze in MSC mode, the embedded cover art is not shown during browsing or playing. I have a Sansa Fuze with the latest 1.01.22 firmware. ![]()
